How ed Teaches

Ed’s classes are built around one conviction: ideas have consequences. History isn’t just a list of dates to memorize. It’s the story of decisions, beliefs, and movements that shaped the world your student is inheriting. His lectures are substantive and story-driven, designed to make the material feel alive without dumbing it down.

The Live Class

Each session, held in person in San Juan Capistrano or live-online via Zoom on Thursday, is a real instructional class. Ed teaches, asks provocative questions, and creates space for even shy or reluctant students to engage. Students frequently leave class wanting to tell someone what they just learned.

The Weekly Drop

Outside of class, everything lives in one organized Canvas module called The Weekly Drop. Students know exactly what’s expected every week: reading, taking the quiz, watching the videos and doing the assignments. No mystery, no scramble. Parents wll receive a progress email to help keep track of their student’s progress.
